Katy St-Laurent, endlessly inspired by the strength of women, fell in love with the artist Adèle Blais and her powerful works. For them, highlighting women who have left their mark on history and society is a given, thereby fueling the energy and courage of other women. They are convinced that by displaying symbols of courage, resilience, or audacity, we can amplify our own potential and move toward achieving our dreams and life projects.

In perfect harmony, they created the Idola sweater, which features Adele's artwork and spreads images of hope, light, and change. We can truly call it WEARABLE ART. Together, let's spread strength, love, and peace.

ADÈLE BLAIS AND HER FORTES PROJECT

FORTES is a committed artistic project that pays tribute to humanity and the beauty of the female experience. Through a series of works, painter-collagist Adèle Blais, with a 20-year career, explores and highlights forgotten stories of women who have transformed our societies. By capturing the intangible energy of buried memories, she manages to bring them to the surface, thus offering a rereading of our collective narrative, new historical perspectives, and tools of understanding to grasp the world today. Her work exalts vitality with strength and elegance, each detail meticulously chosen to represent the journey narrated in her portraits, thanks to vibrant colors and varied collages. This project presents itself as a bridge between the past and the present, revealing the power, individuality, contribution, and resilience that emanate from the stories of the feminine. Adèle Blais celebrates the essential, but often overlooked, role of women throughout the ages.

FORTES also embodies a voice, inviting everyone to rethink the place of the feminine in a constantly evolving world and to rediscover the richness of these lived experiences.
